The company of Harald Popkiewicz has existed since 1973. It specializes in designing and production of artistic jewellery and spatial forms. Natural shapes of Baltic amber constitute the inspiration for the author to create new jewellery designs. In 1983 Harald Popkiewicz was awarded the title of a master of handicraft. As a creator of unique jewellery he has been a member of Toruński Związek Artystów Plastyków [Toruń Association of Artists and Designers] since 1999. His works are distinguished by considerable independence and they stand out against dominating trend in mass production. Harald Popkiewicz’s jewellery is known both in Poland and abroad. The ornaments produced in his workshop can be found in the collections of art museums, e.g. Smitsonians Institution in Washington or Gintaro Galerija w Nidzie. | |
