During the fair the organizer conducted a survey among the exhibitors and buyers. The survey concerned quality and possible changes in future editions. The initial analysis shows that most exhibitors is in favour of the fair closed for the audience and lasting 4 days.
The exhibitors during the fair mostly claimed that the four-day fair lasted long enough for them to deal with clients, a longer one was only generating bigger expenses constituting a big burden for non-resident companies. A fact of full registration of the fair participant plays also a big role: each exhibitor or buyer has a personal badge and is registered. It enables to keep deatailed statistics and notify the clients about all novelties and changes. Most trade fairs in the world tend to restrict access for visitors, in our trade security is of great importance, and limited access to the fair helps to increase it.
A few years ago refusing the non-trade audience entrance to the fair was treated with great caution. With each passing year a number of days when there were sold tickets for the fair and everyone could enter it was limited. According do Ewa Rachon, a fair’s commissar, the fair gets more professional. The fact that exhibitors extort access limitation for the visitors is a sign of market maturing and seeking only professional partners. Today the exhibitor is certain that a person talking to him or her is a representative of jeweller’s trade and not only a fiend of jewellery. Ewa Rachon also assures that regardless of a decision on a duration of the next Amberif edition, the Ambermart will defitinitely remain open for the audience. Nowadays the Amberif fair lasts 5 days and the last day is traditionally open for the audience buying tickets.
The organizers encourage all exhibitors and buyers to provide answers to the following questions:
1. Should the fair last 4 or 5 days?
2. Which fair variant is the most favourable for your company:
- 4 days without audience
- 4 days with the last day for audience
- 5 days with the last day for audience
The opinions can be sent till the end of April to amberif@mtgsa.com.pl
