Sharon Stone, who visited Poland in the middle of May to take part in the 5th Lexus Fashion Night Gala, received from W. Kruk an amber necklace, designed specially for her. 
Alliance of Earth and Sea
On 16th May 2008 in the Kalingrad Museum of Amber they opened an exhibition of various antique objects made of materials of organic origin they constitute diplomatic gifts given to tsars centuries ago. 
Amber workshop in Mallorca
Two famous jewellery designers from Western Europe, Tasso Mattar and Philip Sajet, invite in June to Mallorca to take part in their handicraft workshop of designing and working with amber.

Ewa and Ryszard Kulczynski are the owners of Cool Design - a 15-year-old Swiss company offering various types of amber and their own jewellery. 
4 days of the Amberif fair
The Amberif fair will be shortened from five to four days and closed for a non-trade audience - these are the most important decisions of the Council of Consultants of Amberif. The meeting took place on 6th May.

Between 13th and 15th June in Cracow there will be a new fair event: the Summer Trendshow for Jewellery and Watches JUBINALE '08 organized by Polish Jewellery.
