Although there were visibly fewer buyers than last year at the Amber Trip in Vilnus, the event can boast a higher number of exhibitors and a larger exhibition area. 

Over 450 exhibitors from 12 countries and 6 thousand visitors are expected by the organisers of the 21st Fair for Amber Jewellery and Stones AMBERIF 2014. What impact on the event will the restriction on access to the raw material from Kaliningrad have?

"Our initial talks with the exhibitors seem to indicate that the trade fair was by and large successful for them - and this is a good sign for all of us" - concludes Ewa Rachoń, the manager of the Ambermart project. The event was also an opportunity to think about about the future of amber.

450 exhibitors, a few thousands visitors from all over the world, the latest trends in amber jewellery made of silver and gold, as well as the Amber and Fashion Gala presented in a completely new way - these are just a few of the attractions that await the participants of the 20th edition of the Amberif trade fair in Gdańsk.

S&A, the biggest jewellery producer in Poland, is associated most of all with modern design in amber jewellery. Yet, at the Inhorgenta Munich trade fair the company will be presenting their new collections without amber. Why such a change?

 Art7 was a definite winner, whereas Izabela Gutowska and Jacek Ostrowski received distinctions on amber.com.pl portal. On the Ambermart website,  Studio DF won the award, and Jacek Ostrowski and Polcarat Design were granted distinctions. These are the winners of the 5th edition of the Ambermart Gallery Competition.

The most interest at the Ambermart trade fair seemed to get... the Amber Laboratory, in which experts form the International Amber Association were conducting amber product identification. A queue of people waiting in front of the laboratory was nothing strange there...

The 13th edition of the International Amber Fair Ambermart took place in the new – modern – Exhibition and Congress Centre AmberExpo. The fair has shown that the future of the industry is most likely in China and natural amber.

This year's, the 13th edition of the International Amber Trade Fair AMBERMART will be held at the new AmberExpo building near the amber football stadium in Gdańsk Letnica. "This time we are expecting higher number of exhibitors, as well as contractors and visitors than in previous years. They will surely be eager to see the changes." - says Ewa Rachoń, the commissioner of the fair.

"The general economic situation has instigated the change on the amber market, and perhaps it has given a new opportunity to silver" - says Ewa Rachoń, the manager of the International Fair Trade of Amber, Jewellery and Gemstones Amberif project. What would this mean for the jewellery industry?

Silver and gold jewellery, both classic and fashionable, gemstones and jewellery stones, amber and pearls - all of the above and more will be presented between September 30th and October 2nd, 2011, at the Expo XXI centre in Warsaw, during the 12th edition of the Gold Silver Time trade fair.
As of today, until Saturday August 28th, amber jewellery by Polish designers will be presented at a jewellery trade fair in Copenhagen - the biggest Scandinavian jewellery and watches event.
The International Jewellery Trade Fair Gold Silver Time in Warsaw was complemented by other amber attractions such as exhibitions, prizes and guests.
Amber has finally been given a more complex presentation and promotion than ever before. This year the participants of the event will see three exhibitions devoted to this sunny gemstone: "The Oldest Amber Journeys", "Gdańsk – the World Capital of Amber" and "Our Amber".
"Short of breath" – this is how Danuta Gliwińska from the company Ambermoda summed up the first day of the Ambermart trade fair, which accurately describes the atmosphere at the trade hall for the three days of the fair.

The Amber, Jewellery and Gemstones trade fair Amberif 2011 will be closed to non-expert public – such a decision was taken by the Consultants' Council at their meeting on July 1st. The decision was based on the result of the exhibitors' surveys.

This year Wiesław Gierłowski was chairing the Expert Committee appointed by the Management of the Gdańsk International Trade Fairs, acting as an expert group evaluating the Amberif exhibitors compliance with the rules.
Judging by the numbers and the optimistic atmosphere at the fair, the Chinese market is not being strongly influenced by the world-wide financial crisis.

Inhorgenta Europe in Munich is one of the most important exhibition events in the jewellery and horology industry on the world scale and also from the amber industry's point of view.
The President of the International Gdańsk Fairs opened the meeting of Amberif fair advisers with interesting announcement: the competition for the best architectural concept for the MTG fairgrounds would be resolved within the next few days.
